Of Counsel for Heitzman & Associates

I started my career working as an Insurance Broker (Metropolitan Life and later as an Independent Broker) working primarily on group, life, and health insurance plans. After 22 years, I shifted my career to training and leading Successful Money Management Seminars here in western Michigan. Building our client base naturally shifted Heitzman & Associates in to a self-sustaining Financial Planning firm. We provided Retirement counseling for the employees of companies such as Steelcase, Consumers Energy, Ameritech (AT&T) and Amway.

I retired as a Financial Advisor in 2004 but remain with the firm as ‘of Counsel’.

Personally, I enjoy keeping up on my golf game, traveling the world, and vacationing at our Condo in Grand Haven as much as possible.

When not here in the office, I enjoy volunteering or working with numerous charitable organizations.
